WAFI, West African Farmers Initiative (“WAFI”, “we”, “us”) operates wafi.co and trade.wafi.co. We sell roasted coffee at retail and trade green coffee and other commodities at wholesale. Contact: info@wafi.co.
What we collect
We collect information you give us directly: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, and phone number when you place an order; your email address when you subscribe to our newsletter; and whatever you include when you contact us through our forms. We also collect standard technical data automatically, such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, through cookies and analytics tools that help us understand how the site is used.
Payments
Card payments are processed by our payment processors (WooPayments / Stripe). Your full card details are handled by the processor and never stored on our servers. The processor’s own privacy policy applies to payment data.
How we use your information
To fulfill and ship your orders and send order confirmations; to respond to inquiries, including wholesale inquiries; to send our Trade & Field newsletter if you subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email); to keep the site secure and improve how it works; and to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
What we don’t do
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, including payment processing, shipping carriers, email delivery, and website hosting, and only as needed to provide their service, or where the law requires it.
Cookies
The site uses cookies for core functions like your shopping cart and login, and analytics cookies to measure site traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may affect checkout.
Data retention
We keep order records as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Contact form messages are kept as long as needed to handle your inquiry.
Your rights
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we have no legal duty to keep it. Email info@wafi.co and we will respond within a reasonable time. Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK under GDPR or California under the CCPA), you may have additional rights under local law.

We may update this policy as the business evolves; the current version will always live at this address.
