Grains & Spices
← Back to Our BasketStaples and rarities, grown from the forests of Liberia to the dry lands of Mali and the coasts of Côte d’Ivoire.
Rice
Liberia’s staple, more than 20% of daily food intake. We grow high-yield, early-maturing varieties like KAFACI-3 and GHA-GA/APA for grain quality and disease resistance. Cooks well, stores well, cuts imports.

Vanilla
V. planifolia raised by smallholders in Ghana’s warm humidity. Buttery and rich, toffee, butterscotch, cacao, rum cake. It stands beside Madagascar, and buyers know it: natural, traceable, ethically grown.
On the Vine
Grown under forest shade and pollinated by hand, every pod ripens slowly before curing.

Spices of West Africa
Wild-harvested or grown on small plots: fiery Atarodo bird’s-eye chili, smoky Grains of Selim. The backbone of jollof, pepper soup and groundnut stew, direct from farmers, fair pay, full traceability.
